East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is seeking an Assistant Engineer with experience on civil infrastructure projects. The incumbent will prepare designs for both structures and facilities, including concrete, steel, and masonry.
The most competitive candidates will demonstrate proficiency in: knowledge of state seismic and building codes; familiarity with industrial ACI, AISC, and AWWA codes; and water distribution and treatment engineering principles and engineering analyses.
Requires bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited civil or structural engineering curriculum OR a California EIT Certificate and two years of professional civil or structural engineering experience.
